True Hope Vision and Mission
True Hope has a vision that children around the world would have the opportunity to grow up healthy, educated and loved. We have been guided and driven by James 1:27 “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”

True Hope History
In 2005, a small team was mobilized to travel to Mississippi and Alabama to provide relief to the people affected by hurricane Katrina. A single trip grew into many trips, and organizing large teams going to the gulf coast to support recovery and rebuilding. HRS TrueHope, was then formed in 2006 to help organize and manage ongoing humanitarian relief for similar disasters.
By 2008, needs for disaster relief and rebuilding declining or were met by other larger organizations, True Hope refocused it sight on impoverished areas of Mexico on the Texas border. True Hope took a special interest in orphanages and community projects caring for children. Partnering with a many churches and other non-profits, we have led countless trips to Mexico to provide food, provisions, education assistance and gifts for those who are impoverished or disadvantaged. Our support of Mexico expanded to includes areas to the south and central regions as well as the north in Piedra's Negras.
In 2016, True Hope started to support orphans in Nairobi and Eldoret Kenya with a focus on programs and methods to develop financial sustainability, In addition to direct needs such as food, clothing, medical, and education, True Hope has provided foundation capital construction support such as water wells, dormitories and agricultural programs to generate recurring income and move away from donation constraints.
We are excited about what the future holds, and the hope we have the priveledge of providing. None of this is possible without the support of our extensive family of supporters. Thank You!
